The All New Be A Pro NHL 11 Flies Higher Than Ever

One of the most popular sports game titles are the ice hockey ones, and EA's NHL games have always been between the best. Now though they have risen the bar even higher, and because of a mode like Be a Pro NHL 11 has brought the genre even more than ever before.

Now a part of virtually all EA's sports titles, the Be considered a Pro mode is to take control of just one player, in whatever position you would like, and drive them through their career step-by-step. It is now a popular mode in several popular games such as the FIFA soccer number of game, the Madden American Football games and the of course in the basketball game NBA Live.

It's almost like a role-playing-game inside a sports title, as you gradually develop all of your player's skills and also you progress through various stages of the career. Obviously with each title they vary slightly, depending on the sport and that is the same with Be a Pro NHL 11 -style.

If you have a played a previous version with the NHL series, there were a host of enhancements to the game including what they call a real-time physics engine, bringing an entirely new and realistic dimension towards the game. There has been changes being a new face-off system, a fresh Hit Stick, quick dekes, hip checks and even more, together with your hockey stick potentially breaking.

Perhaps though the most important new element to the Be described as a Pro mode is that you can now start your career playing junior league within the Canadian Hockey League's Memorial Cup. Following that you may be scouted by NHL teams, before stepping into the draft for the NHL. And lastly once you get acquired within the draft, you are well on the trail to becoming the next Wayne Gretzky.

The idea of course is to find as much experience as you possibly can and also to perform well, that way you'll slowly improve your player and improve his chances to visit all the way. However making an NHL roster is no picnic and you'll find your player through an interesting road getting there.

Once you've played somewhat in the all-new Memorial Cup, against other real players in the Canadian Hockey League, your pro will go into the draft, and according to how you did being a junior, will decide where in the draft you are. Once drafted you may play in a few pre-season games before your fate is sealed. Should you be a young draft pick you might get luck and winding up around the roster for that season's opening day.

Obviously if you are drafted somewhat lower, may very well not enter the opening day roster, and may even be loaned on as a famous Hockey League team for some seasons. But that is half the fun of the Be a Pro mode, taking an individual player through a career which is unique to them.

Obviously there's far more to NHL 11 than simply the Be described as a Pro mode, and your pro can get associated with them all including online play. There is a huge network and you can take your pro in to a team and play against others who have created players.
